AGE Drug for Alzheimer’s
「AGEは化ける」と思っています。その根拠のひとつがazeliragon（AGE受容体ブロッカー）というアルツハイマー薬です。18年前から研究が始まり、現在、FDAフェーズ３に入っており、認可の可能性が高まっています。
こちらの論文はAzeliragon開発の途中報告。
これが医薬品になれば、ノニジュースの価値も高くなるでしょう（ノニ果実にAGE受容体阻害効果があり、山岸先生が論文で報告しています）。
この話をいろいろなところでするのですが、作用機序が新しいこともあり、理解してもらえることはなく、いつもさみしい思いをしています。
I think “AGE industry has huge potential”. One of the reasons is Alzheimer drug, azeliragon (Receptor for AGEs blocker). the research started 18 years ago, now it is going to FDA Phase 3. Quite possible to get approval.
This research paper is the report of the development. If it is approved by FDA, the value of noni juice will be greater because Dr. Yamagishi reported noni fruit is natural blocker of Receptor for AGEs. It is very exciting and I talked a lot about this. But it is new mechanism and difficult to understand. Nobody responded well as I expected.
